Abstract
This two-part report presents mathematical analysis of the active power measurements error under different nonsinusoidal voltage and current waveforms, including a DC current component. The analyses are performed at the solid state watt-hour meters, as one of the most important measurement devices. Part I of the report concentrates on the concepts, theoretical function of the solid state wat-hour meters, power definitions and the active power analysis. The work is analytical only. |
