Abstract
Many SMEs lack the time and competencies to use strategically information technologies (IT) and e-Learning platforms in order to be successful on the market. In this pa-per, after a brief presentation of some challenges in the devel-opment of competencies in European enterprises, in the use of e-Learning platforms to form competencies as well as in the role of higher education institutions for covering this necessity, there are given some examples of European projects tackling such topics. |
