Abstract By the endeavor of many scientists all over the world in recently has been created a new scientific direction: Geographical Information Monitoring System (GIMS) technology. This technology is based on the syntheses of database technology methods, GIS and mathematical models. Main idea of this technology is create automatic system for management, evaluations and forecasting of natural objects state. This paper represents the primary results of research in applying GIMS technology for analysis negative influence of the contamination discharge in the sea shore zone, utilizing data from Danang port, Vietnam, as a case study. Theo goal of the work described in this paper is to develop a computer system to help local administrators make the decision on designing and construction of contamination discharge devices also choosing the discharge contamination places for minimization of negative influences of discharge hydrodynamics properties and features of water environment in the sea shore zone of a reservoir. The software SHORE mentioned in this paper is one of realization of above. Proposed system consists of data management tool, adaptive mathematical model and a friendly interface between user and computer. |
