Abstract
This article aims at describing the implementation of a full-fledged client-server application used for monitoring and controlling industrial processes based on OLE for process Control - OPC, and The Highly Functional Distributed System - HFDS. Will be described an application that was developed using Microsoft Visual C++. The software package comprises a data server, two clients for this server and a utility program that allows the user to create reports based on a database. The application is highly flexible, one of the most powerful characteristic of it being modularity. |
